Dr. Joe Dispenza Count Your Blessings Overview
Count Your Blessings: A Guided Practice With the Energy Centers grew from a clear community request. For more than a decade, Dr Joe Dispenza taught the Blessing of the Energy Centers practice. Over time, many people asked for shorter meditations for each center. Therefore, this series gives you one focused option per center, plus guidance to personalize your routine.
What You Get Inside Count Your Blessings
This program combines teaching, practice, and support materials in one place. First, you get a 23-minute video introduction from Dr Joe. Next, you receive eight audio lessons, one for each energy center. Then, you also receive eight guided meditations, again one per center. In total, the guided practice includes about 3.75 hours of meditation. Meanwhile, the instruction totals about 2.75 hours of audio lessons. Finally, a downloadable resource guide helps you tailor the work to your needs.
Why People Use Count Your Blessings
People come to this series for different reasons. Some want to heal specific conditions. Others want more balance in the energy of a certain center. Also, some people already feel healthy and thriving. Even then, they may seek a more mystical experience of wholeness. Consequently, Count Your Blessings supports many paths through one flexible structure.
What You Can Expect From the Practice
Count Your Blessings centers your attention on one energy center at a time. As a result, each meditation offers extended focus on a single center. Moreover, you can repeat any meditation until measurable change occurs. You also can practice in no set order, which supports personalization. Additionally, you can alternate meditations to target multiple areas of the body. Over time, many people aim for systemic coherence across the body. Therefore, the series can support sustained balance and homeostasis. At the same time, it can support creative growth and elevated levels of consciousness. For some, it may also support mystical experiences.
Count Your Blessings Content by Energy Center
Each part includes an audio lesson and a guided meditation for that center. Therefore, you learn the ideas and then apply them directly.
Count Your Blessings I: First Energy Center
The first energy center sits at the base of the spine. It relates to procreation, elimination, and sexuality. It also carries intense passion and creative energy. The practice aims to bless and balance functions linked to this center, including:
- Reproductive organs like the perineum, pelvic floor, penis, prostate, and vagina
- Secondary sex hormones like testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone
- Elimination organs like the bladder, rectum, and lower colon, plus the inferior mesenteric nerve plexus
Count Your Blessings II: Second Energy Center
The second energy center sits behind and below the navel. It governs consumption, digestion, nourishment, and some elimination aspects. If the first center creates life, this center nurtures life. It also connects with comfort, connection, safety, and security. It relates to holding on and letting go. The associated areas include:
- Reproductive organs like the ovaries and uterus
- Digestion and elimination organs like the upper colon, small intestine, pancreas, and the superior mesenteric nerve plexus
- Digestive enzymes and hormones
- The microbiome
- Social networks and structures, including family, environment, relationships, and support systems
Count Your Blessings III: Third Energy Center
The third energy center aligns with the solar plexus area. It sits in the gut, below the breastbone. It connects with will, response, action, and overcoming adversity. At its core, it acts as an internal resource of power. It relates to:
- Digestive, biliary, endocrine, and elimination organs, including the stomach, pancreas, small intestine, liver, gallbladder, spleen, adrenal glands, and kidneys
- Hormones and chemicals tied to digestion and elimination, including liver enzymes and kidney hormones like renin and erythropoietin
- Stomach enzymes such as pepsin, trypsin, chymotrypsin, and hydrochloric acid
- Adrenal hormones like adrenaline and cortisol
- Stress reactions like fight, flight, freeze, and fawn, plus the will to respond
Count Your Blessings IV: Fourth Energy Center
In this work, the fourth energy center relates to the heart. It sits behind the breastbone. It functions as the center of creation in this framework. It also reflects the union of opposites, where polarities merge. The related areas include:
- The heart and lungs
- The thymus gland
- Oxytocin
- T-cells and immune-system-stimulating chemicals
- The upper and mid-back
Count Your Blessings V: Fifth Energy Center
The fifth energy center includes areas linked to the throat and nearby structures. It connects with:
- The thyroid and parathyroid glands
- The salivary glands
- Neck tissues and throat
- Thyroid hormones and parathyroid chemicals
- The neck, shoulders, arms, and hands
Count Your Blessings VI: Sixth Energy Center
The sixth energy center links to:
- The pineal gland
- Serotonin and melatonin
- Circadian rhythms
- Integration of the five senses
Count Your Blessings VII: Seventh Energy Center
The seventh energy center links to:
- The pituitary gland
- Growth hormone and related hormones
- Blood pressure, body temperature, and pain regulation
- Hunger, thirst, and sleep regulation
Count Your Blessings VIII: Eighth Energy Center
The eighth energy center sits beyond the physical body. It rests about eight inches, or 16 to 17 centimeters, above the head. It also stands out because it has no connection to matter.
Working With the Energy Centers in Count Your Blessings
Each of the eight energy centers carries its own frequency and level of consciousness. Additionally, each center has its own intent that expresses information. Each one also connects with specific anatomy, glands, hormones, and chemistry. When you direct attention to one center, you place energy there. As a result, you move energy into its neurological tissue. Since the autonomic nervous system controls each center, you influence it by moving beyond the conscious mind. Therefore, you slow your brain waves down first. Next, you direct attention to the center you chose. Then, you bring it to life through attention and energy. After that, you set a clear intention to balance the center’s energy. In turn, you organize the information it receives and transmits, which can affect biology.
